Colleagues from Real Living, GMAC and Royal LePage (Brookfield Residential Services companies) came together from all over the US and Canada in Jacksonville, Florida, May 19^th-20^th for Momentum 2010.  Twelve associates from Real Living All Florida Realty were in attendance and participated in a variety of educational and inspirational Professional Development seminars.

     The meetings at the beautiful Hyatt Riverfront Hotel were started with a rousing “kick off” by the Jacksonville Jaguars cheerleaders. The Keynote Address was delivered by Michael Staver, a professional business coach and very entertaining speaker.   Also addressing the group were Harley Rouda, President of  Real Living; Phil Soper, President of Brookfield Residential Services; and Aleman Eugenio, an economist with Wells Fargo.

            Once again, All Florida GMAC Real Estate served as a drop off center for The Treasure Coast Food Bank to help feed local families at Thanksgiving.  Non perishable  food items were collected from Realtors, Staff, customers and the general public who responded to signs and news articles.

            This year David Bessette, Broker/Owner of the company, presented a $1,000 check to Wally Burleson, Resource Development & Communications Director with the Treasure Coast Food Bank.  This contribution will go a long way in providing turkeys and perishable items that can’t be collected in the food drives.

 The Treasure Coast Food Bank is a nonprofit center for regional food distribution and is part of America’s Second Harvest – the Nations Food Bank Network.   They procure surplus donated food and transfer it in usable quantities to over 138 non-profit and faith-based agencies with feeding programs on the Treasure Coast.

            The challenge of the Treasure Coast Food Bank is, simply, to meet the need, which in today’s economy is growing daily.
